Job Summary
This is a sourcing req meant to build a pipeline of talent to work for AECOM on secondment to our major client TTC.
AECOM is in need of a Manager, Signals Installation to work on secondment to TTC. Candidate will work from home as well as from site on a 50/50 split.
Job Summary:
Manage the design implementation of the new signal system by reviewing designs submitted by contractor, interfacing with the TTC installers (Signals, Track, Structures, Electrical and others) and installation contractors (for the signals infrastructure), and maintaining the project deficiency list. Must be available to work from the Wilson Yard.
Manager will be responsible for:
Seamless implementation of interfaces between different train control suppliers.
Managing and conducting design reviews on train control projects of approx. $100M.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have a University degree and extensive experience implementing train control systems on a transit system to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
We prefer candidates with:
Experience in the installation of both conventional and CBTC train control systems
Experience in managing the design and installation of redundant power supplies with capacities in excess of 100 kW.
Quantifiable experience in value engineering of train control systems
TTC experience will be considered an asset
