AECOM Lead Revit Designer - Building Services in Wellington, New Zealand
We are looking for an experienced Revit Designer / Modeller to join our established Building Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join a dynamic and solutions-focused team who are passionate about Revit and BIM and using technology to drive efficiencies. Preference is for the role to be based in Auckland, or Wellington.
As a Lead Revit Designer, you will be working on complex projects across New Zealand and Australia. You will have access to AECOM's global Technical Practice Network, Revit / BIM user groups and unparalleled access to the very latest software.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:
Driving Revit on BIM projects
Developing and implementing Revit BIM standards including BEPs & Digital Delivery Plans
Creating quality documentation, assisting in preparation and issuing of MEP drawings for clients
Applying AECOM standards to all projects
Lead clash detection & collaboration on projects, run design team coordination meetings & assist in resolving complex challenges.
Collaborating with Project Managers to gain a better understanding of deliverables
Building relationships with internal and external clients
An experienced Revit Designer / Modeller with a building engineering background who can demonstrate:
Highly proficient in a variety of software & collaboration platforms (Revit, Revizto, Navisworks, BIM360)
Solid experience working in a design office preparing engineering design drawings
Ability to independently resolve challenges ranging from moderate to complex to provide an efficient & constructible design for projects.
Understanding of spatial requirements in a 3D environment
Strong ability to work collaboratively and manage effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Appropriate tertiary qualification
