AECOM Sr. Help Desk Specialist/Data Center Technician in Washington, District Of Columbia

AECOM has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Data Center Technician to support a government agency’s capabilities in Washington, D.C (Union Station / Red Line).
Performs day-to-day activities required to manage data center activities, such as providing daily updates and weekly reports, to include capacity reports, workflow reports, schematics, environmental reports, and inventory reports. Manages power and cabling requests, all data center equipment and racks, and scheduling of all hardware moves/adds/changes. Updates hardware inventory, wire map connections, workflows, and capacity reports. Works directly with the system architecture team to produce installation documents and ensure requirements for System Change Request implementation and datacenter work are accurate. Utilizes change and configuration management database systems (such as TeamTrack), and service management systems (such as ServiceNOW) to provide updates and tracks and manages status using tools such as NLyte.
Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience in the management of Data Centers, to include experience using change and configuration management database systems (such as TeamTrack), and service management systems (such as ServiceNOW.) Must possess a Certified Data Center Engineer Certification or equivalent.
May be required to work evenings and weekends. Participation in a 24x7 on call rotation may be required. May be required to travel to SEC locations and data centers (<10% travel required)
