Job Summary

AECOM is actively recruiting for a senior-level Logistics Analyst with demonstrated skills in Acquisition and Technical Program Management for In-Service Submarines, and technical writing. The successful candidate will provide contractor technical support services for the ILS Product Delivery Manager (PMS450FE1) in the VIRGINIA (SSN 774) Class Submarine Program Management Office (PMS 450).

Primary responsibilities include senior technical support for the Alterations Program efforts for the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program. Also, provide liaison with the VIRGINIA Class Post Delivery Support and Test Manager for analysis and processing of Alterations, perform analysis of Alterations for Logistics impacts using the supportability analysis process, and perform estimation of associated operation & support cost changes. Facilitate the review of Alterations by designated VIRGINIA Class Readiness and Fleet Support Managers, evaluate the Product Support cost and schedule impacts for backfit of Alterations onto In-Service submarines and for submarines under construction. Participate as the VIRGINIA Class Product Support Manager’s representative in the change control process at the Program Office level. Also support the PMS450 Delivery Certification process, related to Logistics products, for VIRGINIA Class Submarines nearing completion of New Construction and Post Shakedown Availability to certify readiness for Sea Trials. Perform other program management, technical and administrative tasks as directed. Coordinate tasks with Navy Participating Managers, Field Activities, other contractors and Navy activities. This position requires working primarily within the NAVSEA spaces at the Washington Navy Yard although the candidate will be seated at the AECOM office. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and at least ten (10) years of job related experience or equivalent. Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college. Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position requires a current Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Military Service and Submarine experience is a plus.
