Job Summary
Job Duties:
Working on international projects as part of GDS family
Performing different engineering studies covering at least one of the following fields: flood risk analysis; drainage design for linear infrastructures; water infrastructures; storage devices & pumping stations; etc.
Assessing the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluations when necessary data are insufficient
Conducting peer review and making technical presentations
Driving quality control of the work performed (reports, calculations, drawings, etc.) assuming its responsibility
Coordinating and leading small design teams focused on a specific sub-discipline for a specific Project.
Thinking and working independently
Delegating work to, mentors, trains, and supervising less experienced staff to complete assignments
Minimum Requirements
Proven track record of working on Water and Wastewater Projects.
Experience working with international regulations and standards will be considered favorable.
Proficient in various software packages for hydraulic and hydrology analysis. Strong computational skills, covering a wide range of hydrotechnical software, will be considered favorable.
Working Knowledge of the following software: AutoCAD, Civil3D or equivalent CAD / 3D modelling software.
Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System
Demonstrable management skills and presence
Fluent in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in Civil and/or Water Engineering from a recognized University
10+ years in civil and infrastructure projects, preferably water&wastewater related projects
3+ years managing engineering teams
