AECOM is currently seeking to hire
Remediation Team Leader to be based in Warsaw or Poznan office (Poland). The Senior Geologist Remediation Team Leader will deliver consultancy and advisory services to both internal and external clients to a high level of technical quality and to programme and budget. In addition, this person will lead the remediation practice team of geologists and hydrologists in Poland.
Involvement in acquiring and management of environmental / remediation projects in accordance with the requirements of AECOM and customers.
Scoping, tendering and administering ground investigations and acting as the Engineer;
Design of geological works including monitoring wells, extraction and injection wells, earthworks, as well as field measurements, laboratory testing and waste management;
Production of investigation and/or remediation reporting, specification and contract documentation;
You will interface directly with other team members, from graduate to Directors and with other internal teams from various disciplines and contractors;
You will have strong development skills and the technical ability, knowledge and competence to provide guidance and teaching to others, particularly junior staff, if and when required;
Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team, to ensure work packages are delivered on time and within budget;
Be aware of and understand the AECOM Project Management procedures, their importance and their application to projects, including monthly progress and budget reviews of projects;
Carry out regular project reviews in accordance with the company Quality Management System.

- Experience on international projects and for international clients
For this Role we require:
A degree in Geology or similar background.
MSc in geotechnical engineering, geology, hydrogeology or similar.
Fluency in both Polish and English
Working knowledge of groundwater modelling software (i.e. Visual MODFLOW)
Certifiication in hydrogeology (professional certification category V or IV)
Certification in geotechnical engineer (category VII or VI)
Experience in soil and groundwater remediation for industry
Excellent knowledge of geological and environmental requirements in Poland.
Additionally we require:
