Job Summary

AECOM is seeking to hire a

Civil Engineer to be based in Warsaw (or Poznan) office, Poland. Successful candidate will be responsible for preparation of Civil/Site Drawings, supporting Calculations and Specifications. Coordinates the flow of technical documents (requisitions, drawings, specifications, calculations) between interfacing engineering disciplines. Provides a comprehensive design expertise on multi-disciplinary projects with a multidisciplinary team of Engineers providing a professional design service to clients.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the preparation and successful completion of all Civil/Site deliverables (road and drainage design).

  • Produces technical calculations to high standards of quality using current computer software. Prepares technical specifications.

  • Reviews work produced by others to ensure timely and accurate results. Completes performance evaluations for those assigned.

  • Ensures compliance of design with all applicable standards and regulations, providing the seal and signature of the professional engineer when required by statute or contract.

  • Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.

  • Conducts surveys, studies, site investigations.

  • Provides field support for construction, particularly in the deployment and maintenance of erosion and sediment control features.

  • Recommends and prepares technical papers.

  • Helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. May assist Section Supervisors with other administrative and technical duties.

  • Conducts code compliance checks

Specific Skills Required

  • Proficiency English is required (fluent speaking capability and high report writing skills)

  • Good knowledge of specifications

Minimum Requirements

For this Role we require:

  • Education: MSc in Civil Engineering

  • Professional license in Civil Engineering

  • Proficiency English is required (fluent speaking capability and high report writing skills)

  • Experience in road and drainage design

  • Experience in military projects as well as Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) familiarity would be an advantage

  • 10 years of consultancy design experience in the the international consulting industry environment

  • Personal skills: well organized, responsible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) familiarity would be an advantage

  • Driving license cat. B
