AECOM Principal Water & Wastewater Engineer in Warabrook, Australia
AECOM is expanding its dynamic Civil Infrastructure business in the Hunter region and are looking for an enthusiastic Principal Water & Wastewater Engineer to join our Water team.
This role presents an opportunity to fast-track your technical and business development skills, working with a range of specialists across the globe, delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects while establishing and building existing client relationships.
We are seeking a future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth in AECOM - an individual who is looking to develop their career within a global organisation – whether that be through people management, technical specialisation, or project management.
Our NSW Water team is helping to deliver large water infrastructure programs encompassing strategic planning and asset management, concept and detailed design, construction and commissioning support. We also support our major internal clients for transport, energy, mining and minerals, oil and gas, ports and marine sectors.
Our services include network and treatment planning and design for water, wastewater and recycled water projects with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.
In joining our energetic and market-leading team, you will contribute to the delivery of our growing portfolio of water projects across NSW, Australia, and the broader region and provide our range of clients with brilliant and innovative solutions.
Demonstrated experience in delivering Water Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time
Successful track record delivering work within a consultancy environment
Experience managing multidisciplinary projects in planning and design phases
Passionate about developing yourself to be a future leader and initiator of our vision to build a better world
Experience in working across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups
Technical experience in the following areas: gravity and pressure pipelines, pump stations and treatment plants
Experience covering all aspects of the capital project lifecycle from planning, through design, construction and commissioning
Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
Proficiency in steady state and transient hydraulic modelling.
CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards)
