Job Description
Enterprise Capabilities is a service-led organization within AECOM, enabling access to a global talent pool. Mechanical Engineer II
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field
Have experience (5-7 years) in pipeline/mechanical engineering and the design of details.
Have experience in 2D and 3D mechanical modeling and design activities.
Experience in 2D (AutoCAD and MicroStation) and 3D modeling systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D, CadWorx, Revit will be an advantage.
Having experience with American Standards and Codes will be an advantage.
Ability to develop innovative concept designs from scratch without supervision, ensuring innovation is at the forefront of all early discussions
Experience in developing engineering designs within hazardous areas associated with traditional fuels or across clean fuel installations and feasibility studies
You will be agile in your approach, with the ability to move into projects at short notice and deliver high-quality work output will be essential.
Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively with both internal and external colleagues/clients.
Grow your technical skills as part of an experienced team
Perform supervised work in accordance with the agreed budget and schedule.
Assist in work planning and programming within the team.
Preparing the Hydrogen proposals and presenting them to Clients
Proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit .
Ability to interact with others on a multi-discipline team
Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Good time management skills, self-motivated, a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Experience in Hydrogen market, knowledge and understanding of Hydrogen (and other alternative fuels), from a safety, risk and benefit perspective is a plus.
Good understanding of P&IDs.
Good knowledge of pipe supports design.
Good understanding of equipment and piping specifications.
Capability to read and understand vendor drawings.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
Ability to interface with other disciplines.
Problem-solving skills and finding the most suitable solutions for our Clients.
General learning and decision-making abilities.
Concern for the improvement of professional training.
Responsibility, conscientiousness, rigor in carrying out the tasks and self-motivated.
Cooperation with other colleagues, teamwork.
Ability to work remotely with a diverse team located in different Design Centers.
Ability to work with a flexible schedule to participate in project meetings/talks with various Design Centers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required as well as advanced software skills - preferably AutoCAD Plant 3D.
