Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for ambitious, self-motivated Data Analyst to work on a variety of tasks and projects. The successful candidate shall be able to work in a team and independently without losing initiative & focus. Areas of work include:

  • Using data mining to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns

  • Organising and transforming data into insight

  • Using data to find trends and build predictive analytic models in our dataset

  • Using tools and techniques to visualise data to inform decisions for different stakeholders

  • Preparing reports and presenting these to management or clients

  • Identifying and recommending new ways to automate and innovate by streamlining business processes

  • Build and Monitoring data quality processes 

  • Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or Related Field

  • Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiar with basic SQL Queries

  • Experience in data visualization and presentation

  • Experience and coding knowledge of R or Python

  • Good understanding of SQL and noSQL databases

  • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tool

  • Working knowledge of some or all Microsoft Power Platform tools i.e., Power BI

  • Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly  

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.  

  • Detail-oriented 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A portfolio & history of previous web development work

  • Exposure to chatbots with Power Virtual Agent

  • Experience and knowledge of basic coding languages including Python, C#, HTML5, and JavaScript

  • Experience working with different types of API including OAuth.
