AECOM Workday Support HCM Senior Technical Lead in United States

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Workday HCM Senior Technical Lead to be based in one of AECOM's locations in all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico or the Philippines. The Workday Support HCM Senior Technical Lead is responsible for the overall configuration and maintenance of the core HCM module. In addition, the Sr. Technical Lead will work directly with key HR stakeholders from across the globe providing input on system capabilities as well as driving ideation, configuration and delivery of enhancements, incidents, and service request tickets. This position has the flexibility to work from a virtual / home location . Candidates must be willing to work in a local time zone to Europe.

Job Responsibilities include, but may not limited to the following:

  • Work with and set the priorities for a dedicated Junior HCM technical staff member, the Sr. Technical Lead will also regularly engage with other members of the Workday Support team serving as the subject matter expert across AECOM's global Workday HCM footprint

  • Work directly with key HR stakeholders from across the globe providing input on system capabilities as well as driving ideation, configuration and delivery of enhancements, incidents and service request tickets.

  • Specializes and manages a technical function within human resources (HR).

  • Serves as a technical specialist for the function.

  • Is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on individual's HR interpretations and advice.

  • May leads complex HR projects domestically or globally.

  • Plans and develops multiple HR projects with unique or controversial problems that have important effects on the organization.

  • May work with subject matter experts, outside consultants and vendors, as required.

  • Receives limited supervision or general direction, with strategic guidance from HR Directors/SVP.

  • Involves creative, independent solutions that will be adopted by HR corporate

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Experience must include advanced knowledge of Workday HCM to diagnose, understand and recommend how to resolve issues or enhance the system

  • Must have advanced knowledge of HR, within the scope of the position and often handles moderately complex tasks.

  • Advises and participates in the planning, development of strategy and policy related to Workday HCM process execution.

  • Provides guidance and feedback to other members of the Workday Support team as it relates to HCM system capabilities or configuration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter working on assigned tickets and/or under limited supervision and direction

  • Relocation is not available for this position
