AECOM Project Manager Construction Services in United States
AECOM has been appointed to deliver our client's Capital Development Programme in France. During this period AECOM will provide Engineering Procurement and Construction Services in an end to end delivery process with a focus on safety and operational excellence. Currently we are building a dedicated team with experts for this programme. As Project Manager you will become part of a growing AECOM Benefrux team with offices in France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
As a Project Manager are responsible for the operational delivery of Build Projects, Build Programmes, and Dealer Projects. You manage a number of different sites from (pre)feasibility until construction phase to approved time, quality and cost standards.
Key duties include:
Lead Project Meetings to deliver all the stages of project development; delivery and close out, for example, scoping visits; design reviews; post tender meetings; cost plan reviews; pre-start meetings; regular site progress meetings; high quality handovers; financial close meetings; and safety audits.
Showing a strong track record in operational delivery of HSSE processes and communication because HSSE is the most important of the KPI’s
Having a strong interaction with the Client Team to maintain seamless communications and client confidence on all project delivery progress Strong management and leadership skills to motivate contractors and colleagues and provide excellence in execution to cope with the fast moving and extremely demanding programme.
Delivering savings on build projects and Programme, where appropriate.
Attending regular safety meetings, managing the safety messages into the projects and audit to give confidence that safety is being implemented in accordance with client and AECOM HSSE processes and procedures.
Ensuring compliance to all brand standards for Dealer projects, while giving the solutions sufficient flexibility to meet the needs of the dealer business.
Managing the supply chain partners
Ensuring that work is delivered within the agreed values of AECOM and the client.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operational role.
Fluent in English and French.
A leading example in compliance and ethics.
HSSE Leadership experience.
Confident and capable individual with strong client focus.
Recognized construction or design qualification (or similar experience).
Experienced in managing a diverse operational team.
Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment.
Ability to work under pressure to tight dead-lines.
Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word.
Full Driving Licence.
