Position Title Instrumentation Support Systems Site Supervisor

Supervises LATR operations and maintenance of Instrumentation Support Systems (ISS) in support of Fleet exercises Coordinates install and de-install of instrumentation on ships, helicopters, aircraft and other exercise participants Ensures debrief products are timely and accurate portrayals of exercise events. Attends pre-planning conferences and exercise reconstruction conferences. Communicates with NSWC, CSG-4, contract Mission Coordinators, computer users, supervisors, and managers to determine requirements necessary to meet exercise objectives. Writes recommendations for management review. Coordinates installation of hardware and software, and implementation of procedure changes.
Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing processes and procedures.
Provides contractor technical and administrative management, including liaison with government personnel. Ensures personnel are assigned to tasks for which they are trained and qualified.
Meets with the government as requested. Supports government-sponsored meetings, briefings, and reviews as required. Prepares or approves required reports to ensure compliance with all contract requirements. Prepares or approves required reports to ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
Five years’ management/supervisory experience required.
Five years’ computer systems analysis (hardware/software), computer programming, LAN support (including server and workstations),
Cyber accreditation desired (Network + or Security + and O/S certification.)
Fiber optics experience is desirable.
Background in computer operations with UNIX/LINUX-based training/ instrumentation systems desirable.
Experience in shipboard LAN
Knowledge of Global Command and Control System - Maritime (GCCS-M).
Fleet training with extensive background in tactical fixed wing, rotary wing, or Navy surface/sub-surface operations desired.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Physically able to perform physical labor to include heavy lifting and carrying up to 50 lb. loads of LATR-associated equipment during ship/participant installation;
Physically able to deploy aboard ship and to remote sites for up to three weeks at a time as required.
Must possess a valid state Driver’s License.
Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification. (Within 6 months of hire date)
Cyber security certification desirable.
Must possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
