Job Summary

Operates computers and peripheral equipment. Enters flight data for mission into the TCTS Mission Line Up (MLU) and to ADDS using the ASOC terminal. Interacts with mission coordinator and or squadron when data is not received in a timely manner for input into MLU and ASOC. Verifies all information received from the squadron is correct and is accurately reflected in the MLU and ASOC. Starts and enables CCS and inputs threat points. Monitors all live missions and notifies supervisor of any malfunctions or stoppage immediately. Assists Range Training Officers\Controllers with mission computer and communications equipment set-up and operation for live missions. Inputs, monitors and changes radio frequencies as necessary. Archives previous mission data and prepares for entry of new flight data into system for next mission. Starts and stops mission recording and sets up debrief rooms for mission replay. Assist Range Training Officer\Controllers and pilots with running replays.

Programs Data Recording Devices (DRDs).

Enters data for the daily Mission Summary Form and TRIMS

Documents maintenance actions in IEMS.

Cross-trained and qualified to operate multiple TCTS systems.

Will be operationally qualified at designated tech level within 90 days of hiring or promotion to TCTS Systems Specialist V.

Cross-trained and qualified to operate at least two additional TCTS system.

Minimum Requirements

Two years of computer maintenance and troubleshooting experience

Familiar with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite and Outlook e-mail applications.

Proficiency with computers and computer operations as well as various electronic equipment.

Possess a valid state Driver’s License.

Must possess and maintain an active SECRET level security clearance.
