Position Title Scheduler - Federal Construction
United States of America - North Carolina
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Scheduler for upcoming projects in the Unites States and other global locations.
Some of the possible locations are Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, Washington DC metro area, US Virgin Islands, Australia, Hawaii, and others. This position is contingent on award of contract with an expected time frame within the next 30 - 90 days.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Assistance and/or development of design and construction schedules
Analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates
Monitoring of schedule delays
Tracking of progress in the field
Tracking of contract changes
Analysis of time extension requests
Analysis of project phase changes
Analysis of value engineering impacts
Analysis of claims
- Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
4 years of experience in assisting or developing construction schedules, analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays,and tracking progress in the field
Previous experience with contract changes; analysis of time extension requests, project phase changes value engineering impacts and analysis of claims
Must be able to create / process AIA invoices, adhere to FAR requirements, and have knowledge of federal contracting requirements
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of construction and document control processes and advanced scheduling principles
Possess strong leadership qualities and be an effective communicator internally and externally
Experience with federal construction projects
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Previous experience with Primavera software (P6)
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) software experience
Security Clearance is a plus
