Job Summary

Rust Constructors Inc. is a full-service, merit-shop construction and maintenance company providing life-cycle services for the mining, power, industrial, infrastructure, and government markets. Our services include construction, construction management, construction consulting; testing, checkout, start-up; and plant services including total plant maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, production support and technical support. Rust is a wholly owned subsidiary of AECOM.

Rust Constructors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman to support our Gilcrease Expressway Project located in Tulsa, OK.

The Carpenter Foreman is responsible for a full range of supervisory tasks of Carpenters such as rough and finish skilled carpentry work. They work from blueprints, specifications, drawing and/or instructions to design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair various types of facilities and structures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide first line supervision to Carpenter / Laborer craftsman and is responsible for the successful completion of their tasks.

  • Prepares layout, using rule, framing square, and clippers

  • Constructs concrete forms

  • Place and finish concrete and tie rebar

  • Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools equipment and supplies as needed

  • Cleans, maintains, adjusts, calibrates and services equipment used in the performance of duties

Level Specific Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, monitors basic duties for a single construction discipline or a functional area. Provides first line supervision of craft personnel. Maintains records and time sheets.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

  • Seven years of related experience, with at least two years in a supervisory position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Carpenter Foreman in infrastructure/highway and bridge construction.

  • Experience assembling metal forms for structural concrete.

  • Experience stick-building wood forms as needed

  • Experience operating forklift sky-tracks, manlifts, and concrete vibrators

  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans and specifications

  • Trade schools, seminar or other relevant training.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment Substance Abuse and Criminal Background screening.

  • This is a safety sensitive position.

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

  • This position is eligible for Per Diem assistance.
