Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Regional Leader to join Strategy+, AECOM’s design led management consulting studio. The employee will work from home due to COVID but will eventually be based out of the Toronto area.
The Strategy+ Practice
Strategy Plus, AECOM’s design led management consulting studio, operates at the intersection of Business Transformation, Communications Dynamics and Place Strategies. Using creative design processes, we conceive and implement enterprise solutions that elevate investments, engage people and improve experiences for institutions, corporations and government.
Job Summary
We are looking for highly motivated applicants who possess the ability to manage and grow our Regional Practice. The successful candidate will join our multidisciplinary team of talented designers, consultants and advisors and be responsible for leading the growth of state-of-the-art consulting projects which encompass world class corporations, healthcare and cultural institutions, universities, and local and federal government.
Working closely with our other Strategy+ national and regional leaders, regional business line leadership and market leaders, this individual will be responsible for the following:
Excellence in managing and delivering a market driven internal business strategy
Education and awareness of all Strategy+ service offerings across all AECOM business lines
Hiring and managing a diverse cross section of creative, analytical consultants capable of undertaking all Strategy+ service offerings
External and internal client development and communications across a diversity of markets and client types.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s in business, economics, architecture, planning, design, social science or another relevant field
Minimum 10 years relevant post education experience in design and/or business consulting.
At least 2 years of client-side leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree and professional qualifications in business, economics, architecture, planning, design, social science an asset
Demonstrated track record in successful practice building, external market development, internal corporate navigation and entrepreneurialism preferred
Candidates will be expected to possess deep expertise in more than one of the following areas:
Business strategy, economics, analytics and operations planning
Workplace and/or education and/or R&D strategy, planning and design
Communication strategy, branding, marketing, user experience
Creating and delivering change management strategies and organizational development plans
Expertise in user research, design strategy, and space programming
Technical Skills
Candidates will be expected to possess skills in one or more of the following:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI data manipulation and analytics
Revit or other space planning / design CAD systems
Web based data analytics, visualization, GIS and presentation software
Project management, project work planning, scheduling and resource deployment
Business development, project management, market planning and client relationship data bases

Familiarity with research methodologies and processes
High degree of flexibility and the ability to lead multiple projects with highly diverse multi-disciplinary teams
