Job Summary

AECOM Netherlands are currently looking for a Maintenance Lead Civil and Buildings in order to manage our client's OPEX budget as efficiently as possible to deliver maximum uptime of equipment and services to maximize our client’s revenue potential within the designated area of expertise.

In this role you will need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of both the technical component infrastructure and its relationship to the overall customer offer.

An in depth working knowledge of maintenance of civil and building related equipment and materials is essential. This must also be accompanied by market knowledge of existing and emerging suppliers; equipment specifications and operating models of comparative and competitor convenience store offers.

You will manage a Civil and Building related package of contracts contributing to our HSSE and business targets/objectives in delivering “great service” on those contracts through the existing established processes, systems with a view to continually develop and improve the service/value provided through new and innovative solutions. You will be accountable for the FMC performance delivery in HSSE, service level performance and budget, and be able to keep pace in a fast moving working environment.

Accountable to: FMC Operations Manager

Location: There will be a significant amount of travel around the Netherlands. The role is expected to be part field based and office based in The Hague AECOM office but this may change from time to time dependent on programme needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver AECOMS Service commitments to the client and deliver against our business KPI’s,

  • Manage contractors in the delivery of Maintenance Service in line with our business KPI’s.

  • Deliver a Best in Class service and always endeavour to exceed AECOM and client's aspirations

  • Define and develop a long-term Maintenance Strategy for the NL business

  • Work within agreed team processes, procedures and systems to deliver and reinforce on a daily basis why AECOM is the FMC partner of choice for our client.

  • Work with maintenance Management System (MMS) to ensure full transparency towards Client (L1) and Contractors (L3), from a HSSE, Quality, Planning and Budget perspective.

  • To take direct accountability to:

  • Promote a leading HSSE approach demonstrated through personal behaviors and values to team members and the contracted supply chain.

  • Deliver Customer Service Excellence in our Contract Management operations

  • Deal with all maintenance stakeholders with utmost of respect

  • Lead the process of identifying client maintenance needs and preparing suitable approaches to deliver to those needs

  • Being a focal point for our supplier management process – focusing on maintainability and reliability objectives in everything we do

  • Role Responsibilities

  • Be a single point of accountability for all Civil and Buildings related contracts, managing the related contractors, their performance and technical issues related to the packages managed.

  • Responsibility for HSSE performance and delivery of AECOM and our client’s “GOAL ZERO” safety standards through contractor and site audits.

  • Manage Contractor Performance across maintenance suppliers with a view to delivering Continual Improvement

  • Management of the OPEX maintenance budgets within approved package levels and timescales.

  • Managing and sustaining the achievement of performance as per the agreed business Service Level Agreements (SLA) for the relevant package items.

  • Supply regular reporting on SLA delivery, escalation issues and budget to the client's FMC Manager

  • Ensure regular service review meetings are undertaken between PM’s and contractors

  • Ensure check on EPCM PM’s deliver of appropriate levels of quality checks on EPCM contractors at hand over of scope to FMC.

  • Support the procurement team in any procurement/contract activity regarding equipment service with Technical input to exercise.

  • Manage Supplier relations regarding payment for works and ensuring all payment activity follows defined client process

  • Promote One Team approach to Asset ownership and life cycle cost with the EPCM Team

  • Manage Data analysis requirements to deliver improved future service benefits to the client

  • Driving Innovation opportunities across the accounts managed to deliver “best in class” service and continual improvement

  • Support and ensure the integrity of the Asset Database is maintained

Minimum Requirements

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent experience

  • 2 years minimum Petrochem/retail knowledge/experience

  • Experience in an contract management role

  • A leader in compliance and ethics

  • HSSE Leadership

  • Confident and capable individual with strong client focus

  • Recognized construction or FM qualification (or similar experience)

  • Experienced in managing a diverse operational team

  • Strong track record in delivering projects in a fast moving and challenging environment

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight dead-lines

  • Good grasp of IT, particularly Excel and Word

  • Full Driving Licence
