Based on the project site, reports to the Project Manager, for liaising and coordination with contractors and client on all construction aspects of the project
Fully understand the role of the PMC with regards to Construction Management as detailed in the Client’s Brief.
Reviewing and evaluating documentation related to mechanical works : process flow sheets , part lists , suppliers parts list , mechanical drawings, shipping status etc
Reviewing, evaluating and validating erection procedures proposed by the contractors.
Arranging and running coordination meetings
Managing the supervision of construction of the Client Project
Directing and supporting the on-site project team in carrying out its duties
Managing the contractors appointed by Client including coordination and supervision of their work against the required progress, quality and safety
Monitoring, updating and reporting the status and progress of construction
Organizing and running all relevant project site meetings contractors and the project team
Ensuring all necessary regulatory approvals are obtained by the relevant parties for the construction
Preparing, punch lists upon completion for inspection and defects rectification
Ensuring preparation of as-built documents, O&M manuals by relevant parties
Ensuring proper safety precautions and procedures are in place by the contractors and that they are being followed
Other duties as directed.
8-10 years of experience including management of brown field projects and shutdowns
Previous experience in construction of cement plants and brown field works
Experience in silos
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and extremely organized
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High level of organizational skills and time management
Strong client and stakeholder management
Familiar with industrial construction trades.
Must be well versed in computer applications, reporting, project documentation, subcontractor coordination, and safety
Preference is given to Filipino Locals/Residents in Teresa
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Must be a license Mechanical Engineer
