AECOM Civil Engineer - Roadway Design in Tampa, Florida

Job Summary

AECOM has an exceptional opportunity for a talented and creative civil engineer specializing in roadway/highway design in Tampa, Florida. Join a team of experienced transportation civil engineers designing major and municipal roadways. As a member of the transportation roadway engineering team, you will have many different types of roadway projects from design through construction. The AECOM Tampa Transportation Practice provides the very best engineering consulting services to our clients and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engineering designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer

  • Work on detailed engineering assignments and develop approaches to solutions

  • Interact and collaborate with AECOM staff and clients

  • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

  • 2+ years of relevant roadway design experience

  • Experience with: MicroStation, Autocad, Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D modeling

  • Fundamentals of Engineering exam
