Property Book Team Chief in
The PBTC is responsible to provide support to Government Property Book Officer (PBO) through management of property accountability and asset visibility of all equipment provided for use in theater. The PBTC provides instruction in property accountability matters, manages hand receipts, establishes and maintains property accountability records in GCSS-Army, coordinates with appropriate organizations regarding property movement, provides support for physical inventories, provides assistance in audits, and preparation of reports. The PBTC identifies, investigates, troubleshoots problems, and implements necessary corrective actions. The PBTC is the primary Contractor POC through which the PBO/Responsible Officer will coordinate Government requirements.
Must have 10 years of related experience (management, asset visibility, and property management).
Must be a United States citizen and have a current, valid U.S. passport.
Must have an active Secret clearance.
In depth knowledge of US Army logistics programs, concepts, methodologies, and relationships pertaining to supply /property book accountability and logistics operations.
Knowledgeable and highly skilled in the use and operation of Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) and its relationships to other Standard Army Management Information System (STAMIS) programs.
Experience at the Brigade property book level.
Must be able to favorably complete customer and company background investigation.
Specialized knowledge and skills:
GCSS-Army system. Certificate is required.
Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE).
SSN-LIN Automated Management & Integrating System (SLAMIS)
Standard Army Maintenance System Enhanced (SAMS-E). Certificate is required.
Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) capabilities such as:
Logistics Integrated Data Base (LIDB)
Integrated Logistic Analysis Program (ILAP)
Enhanced Dollar Cost Banding (EDCB)
Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)/FEDLOGe)
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, SharePoint, and other software programs to assist with special projects, process business unit invoices, and other compliance programs.
Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
U.S. Army 92A or 92Y preferred.
Experience at the division property book level desired.
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.
