Job Description:

The primary function of the role is to support the entire project life cycle for all assigned long-term infrastructure projects. This role will provide technical expertise on cost management for each project that includes, but is not limited to cost controls, audit procedures, planning, procurement, and design.

  • Lead the assessment, execution, revision, and updates of cost and schedule management program for multiple and long-term assigned projects.

  • Prepare forecasts, project cost reports, trends, and analysis for submission and presentation to key stakeholders.

  • Prepare and review cost estimates.

  • Manage coordination with the client’s main contact in providing cost management services.

  • Recommend actions for changes and implement applicable change management practices.

  • Review and approve contractor invoices.

  • Provide analysis of labor cost requirements against the project budget.

  • Maintain database and trackers to monitor any project expenditures.

  • Lead project cost review meetings and communicate with key stakeholders to identify project risks and recommended contingencies.

  • Identify and implement project efficiencies and process improvements.

  • May lead or guide junior members of the team in performing day-to-day activities related to the assigned projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’ degree in engineering or accounting

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in construction project management

  • Professionally qualified with at least one of the following certifications as RICS, APM, CIOB, or Prince2.

  • Working knowledge about the contracts related to procurement, engineering, construction, and project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with multiple internal and external customers.

  • Ability to lead project control activities and to exercise judgment in identifying risk

  • Has excellent analytical skills to assess and resolve complex issues

  • Must be able to work independently and exercise good judgment

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
