Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the AECOM Philippines Center Manager, this position is a key leadership role in Global Business Services (GBS). This role will focus on leading the Hire-to-Retire (H2R) operations delivery in Manila while partnering with Human Resources and Finance stakeholders. The H2R operations includes but is not limited to Contact Center Management, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Time & Labor, Payroll, and Global Mobility. This role is responsible for implementing best in practice processes and tools while driving continuous improvement for a scalable and sustainable delivery model. The role will provide leadership, supervision and guidance to the H2R operations team members. An ideal candidate will have a strong focus on standardization and automation while also improving employee experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set operational plans for HR service delivery center, including active contribution and input to the wider GBS HRSS strategy.

  • Lead the strategic management and execution of overall operations delivery of the HR and Payroll GBS teams. This includes but is not limited to service enhancement, systems design, reporting and project management.

  • Ensure operational goals and objectives are achieved across all functions.

  • Partner w/Global Process Owner to implement H2R delivery governance and controls to ensure compliance and effective management of operational and business risks.

  • Enhance controls that maximize efficiency while maintaining operational compliance (including Privacy and Security)

  • Provide strong operational and people leadership the team. Ensuring that operational and people decisions are well aligned with the strategy.

  • Implement and monitor health metrics and KPIs and report effectiveness of processes and systems, benchmark against industry best practice

  • Identify process improvements, including gap eliminations and present the proposals to key stakeholders and leaders to achieve buy-in

  • Research, customize and implement relevant industry best practices to improve service delivery and customer experience.

  • Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of all HR service delivery policies and procedures

  • Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, including but not limited to, HR, Finance, HRIS, IT and Controls to establish and maintain strong relationships

  • Assist in preparation and managing the yearly budget; drive year over year productivity savings

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT or Business-Related Field and ten (10) years of management experience with HR, Payroll or HRIS in a global multi-function environment.

  • Ten plus (10+) years of relevant work experience in a Shared Services environment

  • Experience leading large shared services operations with a minimal of 150 headcount

  • Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills

  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced, confidential environment

  • Ability to set clear direction and coach/mentor the team

  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Strong analytical and planning skills

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Experience in Oracle and Workday (or similar ERP system), case management tools (SNOW preferred) and process documentation tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean, six sigma experience preferred

  • MBA preferred
