Job Description:

This role is primarily responsible for leading a support team in the Global Mobility Tax and Operations function, to ensure a seamless service delivery to assignees both by AECOM and its suppliers. You will support and be accountable to the Global Mobility Tax and Operations Senior Manager.

  • Act as main point of contact for regional Global Mobility Leads

  • Oversight and management of work in GM Tax and Operations support team, helping the team to prioritise when required

  • Provide regular updates to GM Tax and Operations Senior Manager on the status of work, and managing expectations

  • Lead the GM support team to deliver the following:

  • Proactive management of assignee records on Assignment Pro, ensuring data is correct and up to date

  • Production of assignment letters and coordination of relocation services

  • Cost projections

  • Hypothetical tax calculations

  • Execution of all mobility administration activities, including initiation of tax, international medical insurance coverage, and immigration services

  • Compensation collection for tax reporting purposes

  • Invoicing for all suppliers

  • Production of active assignee reports and tracking of work permits

  • Global tax return authorisation list for tax vendor

  • Review all work prepared by the team to ensure accuracy before sending deliverables to the GM Tax and Operations Senior Manager and regional Leads

  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to the team to ensure work is performed with efficiency and deadlines are met

  • Manage team performance and identify career development opportunities relevant to the team

  • Analyse complex issues and guide solutions to challenging issues and escalations within the team

  • Manage team workload and recommend resource planning solutions for changing resource needs and work volumes

  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline processes, improve customer experience, and increase productivity

  • Provide regular performance and operational progress reports to managers to ensure issues are being flagged and gaps are addressed on a timely manner

  • Develop and prepare reports and analyses on workload management, SLA achievement, quality, and process efficiency and other related management reports and audits

  • Develop strong stakeholder relationship by ensuring escalations are managed effectively and proactively

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in global mobility and/or expatriate tax experience. Industry experience is preferred

  • Experience managing a small team

  • Experience using HR and case management systems and other similar platforms and tools

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Assignment Pro is preferred
