AECOM Document Control Specialist in Taguig City, Philippines

AECOM GBS is currently looking for Senior Document Control who will report to the Project Control Manager in Manila and functionally support the Project Control Department. The job incumbent will be responsible for sending, receiving, distributing, circulating, tracking, expediting, and archiving all official project documents to, from, and within the company. The Document Control Specialist is also responsible for the implementation and management of the Document Management System while providing the supported projects and company with quality assurance measures.
Works under direct supervision on routine tasks as per established procedures.
Works with other team members and/or end-users to troubleshoot basic problems.
Effectively contributes to team goals.
Participates in the development of basic solutions.
Coordinates with Project Managers and IT/Records Management on the proper methods of protection for project records and makes recommendations on media, rotation, procedures, etc.
Understands project needs and determines proper resources for projects.
Analyzes and selects information services.
Answers correspondence on special reference subjects.
May be designated according to specialized functions.
Participates with other team members to achieve common goals.
Troubleshoots problems of low complexity and recommends appropriate action.
Effectively contributes to team goals.
Provides document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval, and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper, and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.
Manages the setup and maintenance of document control/records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.
Ensures that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.
BA/BS + 6 years experience or if the candidate does not have this, they should have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Adobe, and Outlook)
Experience with SharePoint Online
Experience with Technical Document Control Management software (Share Point, BluBeam Unifier, Documentum EDMS, Aconex EDMS, Prolog
Experience in Engineering, Construction or Owner Environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
Motivated, detail-oriented and flexible. Must be able to work independently, and exercise good judgment
Ability to successfully multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Ability to work with a high volume of transactions
Functionally supporting stakeholders outside Manila
Eight hours (8) of work in front of Laptop / Gadget
Working on a declared holiday if needed
