Job Description
AECOM Information Technology is seeking an Applications Support Analyst to support a variety of applications and their interfaces within the enterprise applications portfolio within the applications support team. The initial applications will include HR Applicant Tracking System, finance Contract Lifecycle Management and Digital Adoption Platform Training – WalkMe.
The Support Analyst will work with IT, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot errors, determine solutions, and communicate effectively within the teams.
Responsibilities
Maintain a detailed understanding of how the applications are configured to meet customers’ business requirements.
Provide first-line application support for several Enterprize systems.
Triage application-related incidents and service request and ensure those are allocated to the correct queue.
Resolve application-related incidents, service requests, and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements and within SLAs.
Either configure applications independently or support the configuration of applications under the supervision of the IT Manager and /or Business Analyst, depending on the level of complexity.
User administration.
Troubleshoot data and integration errors, evaluate error logs, and integration logic, and provide proposed solutions.
Apply appropriate incident and service request management processes and procedures.
Liaise with wider IT team and 3rd Party Suppliers as required in pursuit of solutions to incidents and service requests.
Provide timely communication to users on the status of their service requests and incidents.
Maintain IT application support technical documentation.
Carry out ad hoc duties as required.
Independently or in collaboration with IT Manager and/ or Business stakeholders, identify and prioritize minor and major enhancements, depending on the level of complexity.
For minor and major enhancements:
Define and document requirements for enhancements and submit documented requests for review, assignment, and completion.
Work to ensure that requirements are well understood developed or configured successfully and that the impact of any change is understood and communicated
Perform testing and documentation where required.
Coordinate with AECOM technology team members to deploy changes to the production environment.
Requirements/Qualifications
3-5 years experience as an Application Support Analyst or related responsibilities.
Experience in IT problem diagnosis and resolution.
Very strong excel skills are critical for this role.
Knowledge and experience of cloud-based applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to understand complex data structures.
Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Ability and appetite to learn new technologies.
Good communication skills.
