Job Summary

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Development Manager to join the Easing Sydney’s Congestion Program, based in Parramatta. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the investigation, detailed scoping, assessment of user requirements, development and project consultation for Easing Sydney’s Congestion program of projects.

Minimum Requirements

Some of your responsibilities will include but not limited to;

  • Undertake detailed project scoping and project development functions to ensure Easing Sydney’s Congestion projects meet Government and Roads and Maritime objectives.

  • Ensure projects address integrated needs of freight, road-based public transport, pedestrians, cyclists and light vehicles.

  • Develop and implement effective community involvement plans during the development phase of projects to ensure appropriate community consultation.

  • Ensure that project resources are procured cost effectively and that projects are implemented to agreed time, cost and quality and are consistent with operational and maintenance requirements.

  • Ensure the assessment and selection of proposals enables the highest need and best value for money projects are developed and prioritised to meet the objectives of integrated road transport management.

  • Work in collaboration with the consultancy partnership to drive and ensure project concepts are delivered within intended scope, budget and timeframe.

  • Facilitate progress and approvals on design, construction and operational matters by liaising and negotiating with other branches and sections of the Roads and Maritime, government departments and agencies
