We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic Healthcare professional to join our Buildings and Places team in Sydney, with the primary responsibility to lead and grow the regional Healthcare business across NSW and ACT. The goal is to drive excellence in our client service through innovation, Thought Leadership and technical delivery.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic growth plan for the region, including developing and executing client outreach goals. A key part of the role is to develop and expand upon your existing client relationships in the health sector to sustain a team dedicated to excellence in Healthcare. you will also collaborate with our ANZ and global health care leaders to ensure we bring the lessons learnt and international perspectives to our local clients.
Together with our senior regional leaders, you will build a high-performance team by soliciting and managing client feedback to align operations and allocate resources according to strategic priorities, recognizes and unleashes the potential of others by providing the needed environment, resources, coaching, experiences and other support, champions an innovative and collaborative culture.
You will be connected to a strong national team, which is also linked to a global sector group. Our portfolio experience covers some of the major health infrastructure in Australia such as Queensland Children’s Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Victoria Heart Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital and Royal Hobart Hospital Redevelopment to name a few.
We are seeking an individual who is an industry-recognized leader in the Healthcare Community, has strong client relationships, and an established client and industry network. The ideal candidate is a good problem solver, understands and has proven track record in driving business fundamentals that include client leadership, business development, financial oversight, design quality, project delivery, and has the ability to convey innovative design thinking and solutions. To be suitable for this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in delivering health care projects through-out NSW + ACT
Pre-existing Client networks and established relationships with Health Infrastructure, and Local District Health boards
Understand Australasia health facility Guidelines and relevant technical guideline (TS11)
A clear understanding of relevant technical bodies and health guidelines
In-depth understanding of the Building Codes of Australia and The National Construction Code
Sound knowledge of Australian Health Sector, particularly in NSW
Strong project management and people management
Appropriate technical qualification within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Significant years of relevant experience in healthcare design
Engineering design consultancy experience
Recently published or presented paper(s) in a relevant technical area would be highly regarded
