Job Description
AECOM currently have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Bids & Proposals Partner , based out of out Sydney office.
Reporting to the Strategic Pursuits Manager , the Bids and Proposals Partner is responsible for maintaining efficient and high calibre support for marketing and business development activities; driving proposals and managing the bid process for the Energy Team, including developing an understanding of the business development needs and the opportunity pipeline.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Preparing and producing high level bid submissions
Managing the go/no go process including initial meetings and assessment
Review & edit proposals – including development/editing of graphics
Offer advice and support to local tenders and proposals
Maintenance and management of an accurate proposal database
Review, filter and distribute tenders received from online tender search services
Maintain bid and opportunities database and work with Bid Manager’s to produce relevant reports
Coordinate the writing and client approval of Project Profiles
In conjunction with the marketing team develop marketing collateral (capability statements, skill sheets, project data sheets and CV’s) in line with corporate guidelines
Aid the Marketing team to work on bids for other groups where required
Produce reports and other general material to support Business lines
Maintain, develop, and retain the highest appropriate standard of bid coordination skill
Commit to continual professional development and learning on relevant business and marketing matters
About You
Ideally, you will have:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work well as part of a team and autonomously as required
Capable of keeping confidentiality
Ability to apply marketing theory and practice in carrying out a variety of assignments
Experience analysing data for purpose of evaluation
Demonstrable ability to organize, process, and present information
Proactive in meeting clients’ expectations and requirements
Qualifications
Degree level qualification in Marketing or similar
Previous experience in a Bid Management role
