Job Description

AECOM’s market-leading Renewable Energy business in Australia is looking for a highly experienced ' Associate Director - Renewables, Generation & Advisory ' to join our practice in Sydney and be instrumental in the growth of our team.

Our team works closely with investors and developers to enable them to deliver successful developments from pre-construction through to operations. We are currently delivering a broad range of projects including solar and wind owner’s engineer, project management, design, feasibility assessments, energy advisory, and grid connection studies associated with future generation and storage projects.

As an Associate Director, you will be instrumental in enabling and growing the team. You will collaborate to deliver projects, develop proposals, and deliver on client expectations.

You’ll work closely with asset owners, developers, government - engaging and consulting across a wide range of audiences, as well as effectively managing resources and budgets.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be able to demonstrate experience in supporting teams to deliver projects and deliver on client expectations.

Additional requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related fields

  • Experience in renewable energy sector, experience with energy storage, hydrogen or other emerging technologies would be an advantage.

  • Project or engineering experience, such as pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, concept or detailed designs, technical reviews, specification writing and construction monitoring.

  • Ability to win business on the strength of your personal brand and knowledge.
