Position Title Railway Signalling Designer
United Kingdom - Wiltshire
AECOM is currently seeking Signalling Design Engineer. As a Signalling Design Engineer you will produce signalling design and apply professional expertise within that design.
Produce Signalling design as required, confirming that it meets the requirements given in the scope of works and that the operational, technical and safety principles have been met
Undertake the role of Lead Engineer on allocated projects
Provide support and guidance to less experienced team members
Contribute to the preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects
Monitor own performance and the progress of own work ensuring that potential variations are highlighted and appropriately managed
Contribute to the planning, programming and monitoring of resources to meet programme and budget requirements and targets
Perform duties as directed by Management from time to time in connection with Signalling design activities
Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation and Company procedures
Specific Skills Required:
Experience in the use of Microstation CAD
Experience in signalling site surveys and correlation
- Demonstrably proficient in Signalling design role
Relevant HND or HNC
Appropriate membership of IRSE
IRSE Signalling Designer Licence
