You will also be joining the No. 1 globally ranked Dams and Engineering Practice (according to ENR), which enables you to access skills and knowledge of a range of industry recognised dams specialists. This is a unique opportunity for you to work on nation defining projects by utilising the broad and diverse skills from across the globe.

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Leading and running engineering components of complex, major dams projects and providing technical and strategic direction in their delivery

  • Guiding and mentoring our growing team of engineers to provide high quality outputs and excellent client service

  • Leading design teams and design programs from options-analysis through to detailed design of dams

  • Creating and maintaining lasting relationship with our clients.

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Proven experience in delivering above expected outcomes and a strong technical capability within the dams industry

  • A passion for mentoring and leadership

  • You are positive, and see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations

  • A degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline (essential).

If you are an experienced Dams professional looking to take the next step in your career, or you are coming from another country to establish yourself in Australia, we would love to hear from you. For the right candidate, we will provide assistance with visa sponsorship and relocation for you and your family as required.
