AECOM Senior Project Manager, Rail in Stockholm, Sweden

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Rail Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will play a key role in delivering a programme of projects to meet annual budgetary targets for turnover and margin and in developing our rail business across Sweden.

You will take responsibility for overall performance aspects of a portfolio of Multi-D engineering design projects and/or large civils/structures projects, including client liaison, leading an existing Programme/Project Management team, coordination of engineering teams and contribution to our bidding effort.

Main tasks:

  • Accountable for the performance of the project

  • Develop and maintain the client relationship, with regular reviews of project

  • Management of the budgetary targets for turnover and margin within the project

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to identify opportunities

  • Present performance of the project during finance review meetings with key stakeholders and providing amended forecast figures where necessary

  • Application of the current local and international regulations in the design

  • Leading the project delivery team

  • Management of project in order to provide clients with deliverables on time and within budget.

  • Providing engineering leadership and discipline integration of projects delivered by the Transportation business.

  • Advising the client and the team regarding Health & Safety and Environmental issues and risks

Minimum Requirements

At least 8 years’ experience as Project Manager in structural projects, experience in rail projects is a must
