AECOM is seeking a Transportation Engineer for the Transportation Department in Stevens Point, WI. Projects may include interstate highways, urban and rural roadways, and multi-use paths. Some site work and utility design will also be included.

The program also has learning activities that will be available to you, including webinars and on-line programs.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Geometric design of roadways creating horizontal and vertical alignments and cross sections
Preparation of design reports including pavement design reports, design study reports, and technical memorandums
Coordination with project stakeholders including clients, public, utility companies, and permitting agencies
Plan preparation in accordance with WisDOT standards including erosion control, pavement marking, permanent signing, traffic control, plan and profiles, and cross sections
Calculate quantities and estimates for WisDOT and local transportation projects
Storm water analysis and storm sewer design
Sanitary sewer and water main design and permitting
Local marketing to build the AECOM brand in the local communities
Successful candidates will be based out of the Stevens Point office and may from time to time travel during the day or evenings to project sites, client meetings, or other AECOM offices. Successful candidates will be expected to work independently and in design teams to advance projects through the WisDOT process.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in transportation design
Experience in transportation-related projects
Engineer-in-Training or ability to obtain EIT (FE) registration within 6 months
Experience in Civil Engineering design.
Experience w/ multiple elements of highway design including but not limited to the following:
Highway design (alignments/geometry, roadside design, pavement, traffic control, etc.)
Plan and contract document preparation
Drainage design, stormwater management and permitting
Familiarity w/ Civil 3D and MicroStation.
