AECOM is a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based in the South East MEP team. You will responsible for calculations, designs, technical reports, for our UK&I wide projects.

We collaborate with our clients to design and problem solve for both public and private sector projects within residential, commercial, Data Centre, aviation, defence, healthcare, education, pharmaceutical, sports, and leisure.
The South East team are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their established team.
Produce detailed design information including calculations, drawings, technical reports and technical specifications
Provide Support to Electrical discipline lead
Attend design team and client meetings
Review the work of Engineers and Graduates and provide support and guidance.
Act as a mentor to junior staff and promote CPD activities
Consider financial implications in producing design options
Carry out risk assessments and value engineering
Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
Extensive experience in electrical building services design within an engineering consultancy
Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients
Excellent technical understanding of electrical building services for the different sectors along with a good overview of the other disciplines in building services
Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, and developing designs from first principles including electrical system distribution (HV/LV), power, lighting, fire alarm, earthing, control systems, BS9999 & BS 8517 Life Safety systems, and be conversant with codes and practices
Ability to work and deliver projects within Revit
Experience in delivering to projects through RIBA stages 2 to 5
Experience in commercial office, Data Centre and residential sectors would be an advantage
Preferred Software Experience
Dialux / Relux
MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Requires BEng, preferably MEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
A clear work history and proof of professional development and learning
Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership
Experience in renewable systems and the residential sector are essential for this role
