About DCS—Program and Project Management
As an industry leader in program and construction management, we partner with clients to support projects from concept to completion. From education, healthcare, transportation and water facilities to sports, leisure, cultural arts and other public gathering venues, we deliver on the promise of protecting our clients’ interests as our own and building partnerships with the communities we serve.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Exposed to various analytical requirements and begins to formulate a basic understanding of Project Controls concepts and principles.
Provides support to proposals with exposure to various contracting methodologies.
Supports relationships with other functions relative to Project Controls.
Reviews expenditures for coding accuracy.
Updates commitment log for purchase orders and subcontracts.
Assists in the development of information to support the trending and forecasting processes.
Provides support as required to facilitate preparation of information for progress measurement.
Exposure to rudimentary earned value information and its application.
Assists with gathering information from the accounting system for tracking actual cost information.
Exposure to the procurement process and the relationship to Project Controls responsibility.
Supports project change order process and gains insight to the rationale and requirements concerning its importance.
Assists in generating deliverable packages (plans, specifications, and reports).
- High school Diploma or GED + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Project controls experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
