AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Environmental Senior Manager for immediate employment in the Southfield, MI office. The successful applicant will join a network of existing AECOM Remediation specialists across the US, and will have the resources of more than 3,500 regional staff available to assist in project delivery.

Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include management of staff and business development on all facets of remediation and compliance projects, with the goals of:
Delivering high quality products/outcomes
Meeting financial and timeline performance requirements
Achieving client satisfaction
Maintaining staff utilization
The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of projects with the following duties:
Manage and lead a variety of projects with a focus on soil and groundwater investigations and remedial efforts.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, biologists, landscape architects, and/or CAD designers in the preparation of technical reports, site designs, engineering drawings, and specifications
Delegate work, mentor, and supervise less experienced staff while managing projects of varying size and complexity
Identify and develop new clients and work, manage existing clients and contracts, and lead/assist marketing endeavors
Assist or manage the preparation of proposals, and provide creative project approaches through written, verbal, and graphic communication
Management and mentorship of junior staff
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering/Science or related discipline
Due to the nature of this work, US citizenship is required
10+ years of environmental consulting or engineering design/investigation
Professional registration and/or certification, as applicable
PM/technical management experience in remediation market sectors.
Proven track recorded for client relationship development (both existing and new)
Experience managing staff/teams in the practice discipline and able to demonstrate leadership for our teams
Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management, ability to analyze financial statements and complete budget tracking
Regulatory knowledge and experience related to the projects in our key market sectors
Ability to represent clients with the public as appropriate. Must have the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments for private sector, State and municipal clients. Must be capable of growing and securing business opportunities
Excellent leadership skills, and demonstrated ability to successfully manage diverse teams, and successfully manage/deliver project scope, schedule and budget
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective, excellent client presentations and written report preparation, and demonstrated ability to communicate with, and coordinate technicians, engineers, discipline managers and project managers for the preparation of high quality work products in a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Work, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
