AECOM Talent Acquisition Specialist I in South Africa, South Africa

Job Summary

Job Duties:

  • Supports the Talent Acquisition Specialist with high volume recruitment.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist to build and maintain pipeline data base and manage unsolicited applications.

  • Advises and participates in planning, strategy development, and policy related to recruiting on a basic to moderate scale.

  • Take the lead on the recruitment life cycle of delegated roles by:

  • working with the Hiring Managers and short-listing suitable

  • candidates

  • prescreening and interviewing candidates

  • maintain applicant and recruitment tracker

  • negotiating the offer with the candidate on behalf of the Hiring

  • Manager

  • Do reference checks and MIE qualification verifications

  • Prepare candidates for interviews with the Hiring Manager by supplying as much information as possible to candidate about AECOM, business line and the position

  • Accountable to ensure a positive experience for the candidate

  • Positively positions AECOM to candidates

  • Assist Talent Acquisition Specialist with administration as an when required.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 – 6 years’ experience working on Engineering roles (Mechanical, Electrical, Water etc. is a must.

  • Experience working in an administration background essential.

  • Candidates with a mix of agency and in-house recruiting will be preferred.

  • Experience working with Excel, Word and using the Internet and email. Ideally also in-house recruitment databases.

  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in either Human Resources or a related subject.
