Operational Services – General
Be an advocate and effectively support and engage staff on operational business change initiatives.
Assist and support change management process, prepare and issue internal alerts / bulletins and communicate significant change related matters to the business.
Collaborate with staff to oversee, guide and carry out operational services tasks initiated globally or regionally.
Facilitate and train staff where required as part of the change management process.
Assist with implementation of Technical Excellence programme (integrated career model, technical standards library, Tech-Talks, etc).
Assist and support staff through Deliver-to-Win incentive program and track and monitor enrollment process.
Operational Services – Systems
Administer, manage and be proficient in the various business systems / tools / platforms used in AECOM (e.g. ePM, PDS, DecisionPoint, Net Promoter Score, Gifts and Entertainment System, AECOM University, etc).
Assist and support the business on relevant associated business systems / tools / platforms.
Handle AECOM Apps to data manage and maintain accurate records of operational activities implemented (e.g. ePM access, DecisionPoint access, PM Certification App, AECOM University, etc)
Oversee, administer and manage the PM Certification Process in the Region, provide training to prospective PM/PD’s and work with the Regional Leaders to obtain approval and managing access rights to ePMP.
Manage ePM administration access rights including assisting the business with system issues.
Manage and update regional Quality / Operational excellence homepage / sharepoint site on the Ecosystem to be relevant and useful for the business.
QA, EMS & SHE (Collaborate)
Ensure relevant QA (ISO9001) and EMS (ISO14001) certification are maintained and implemented within the business.
Assist with the identification and setting of country quality and environment Strategy, Policies and Objectives aligned to Corporate requirements.
Coordinate and implement the country preparation for external audit programme and certification to ISO9001 and ISO14001 with certification body.
Maintain and coordinate the internal audit programme (to include second party – Subs, partners etc) and conduct audits to ensure compliance, monitor performance and analyse results to requirements of AECOM obligations and the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and Safety.
Escalate any non performing areas regarding external or internal audit performance to top management and ensure timely follow up of non-conformances.
Review and update IMS Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms and associated Guidelines as necessary and aligned to local legislation / specific regulations.
Prepare regular Performance Reports, for example monthly Quality updates, Internal/External Audit Analysis Reports, and provide input into the Management Review and continuous improvement process.
Collaborate with the Regional SH&E Manager to ensure IMS compliance with SH&E related policies and procedures for project delivery and the location management of the function (including project sites).
Recognise and ensure arrangements are in place which diminishes the environmental impacts and aspects of the business (workplace and occupational activity).
Facilitate winning work by preparing and contributing to the pre qualification process and raise awareness of the QA and EMS requirements with the project teams.
Prepare and provide QA and EMS training to new (or existing) staff as part of the on-boarding process.
Answer any queries related to IMS processes, management standards and associated systems (e.g. Project Delivery System / ePMP etc).
Co-ordinate and report Client feedback, complaints and compliments to the business and where appropriate,
Uphold a good working relationship and communication with External Auditors, Clients, Project Teams and Contractors to upkeep the company’s standards in customer care.
Manage and monitor the subs evaluation process interacting with Project Managers as required.
Able to approach solutions laterally and be a positive catalyst to build relationships and motivate others to contribute positively and productively.
Strong analytical, logical and systems oriented capabilities.
Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills.
At least 3 to 5 years experience in the field of engineering and/or construction or quality role.
Preferably Bachelor degree in Engineering.
