AECOM Talent Acquisition Specialist, South China in Shenzhen, China

Job Summary

  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for junior to mid level positions.

  • Work closely with assigned city HRMs and Talent Acquisition Manager to deliver recruitment needs. Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

  • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

  • Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, especially externally.

  • Communicate with hiring managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, and make morale of internal employee referral.

  • Create contacts within industry.

  • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.

  • Responsible for providing current recruitment knowledge and trends within the market overall and also for multinationals.

  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.

  • Assist in performing reference and background checks for potential employees.

  • Develop working relationships within Universities to lead campus campaign.

  • Perform other special projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in HR, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 4-6 years’ experience in recruitment, either in-house or gained from a recruitment agency.

  • Recruitment experience in Engineering or Architecture highly preferred.

  • Acquaintance with the local employment market and community resources.

  • Familiarity with China Labor Law and city laws, regulations and codes related to employment.

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills both in Chinese and English.

  • Computer literacy, including knowledge of basic software applications and familiarity with the internet and email communications.

  • Ability to travel within city and surrounding communities.
