Job Description
This role will support an integrated, value-based approach to human resources management, aligned to annual and long-term strategic business and HR initiatives in a large organization with over 4000 headcounts. She/he will be a strategic partner with the business, to nurture an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
The incumbent will provide a range of HR services to the company and business units, with partnership of Centre of Excellence in HR, including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, talent development and people services.
Responsibilities:
Act as Human Resource Business Partner to the Business Line Leader and provide HR insight and advice on all people related issues and initiatives.
Develop and implement programs to ensure retention of key staff, and lower the employee turnover.
Lead or support HR initiatives as assigned by the HR Director
Partner with Business Line Leaders to review the criteria for the new hire. Partner with the Talent Acquisition team for hiring.
Develop and review HR policy and procedure for Hong Kong in line with current employment legislation and/or organizational changes to increase the efficiency
Ensure L&D activities are planned to meet current and future organization and employee needs.
Partner with Compensation and Benefit team to regularly review market competitiveness, benefit and reward structures, internal relativity and equity in line with global levelling and corporate policy guidelines.
Work with C&B team for salary review and reward programs, preparation of remuneration review information to enable Business Line Leaders to conduct reviews effectively and efficiently.
Advise on competitive conditions and internal remuneration anomalies.
Work closely with the Legal Department to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are fully compliance.
Review the workflow to increase the efficiency
Lead and develop team members to progress further in their career path
Qualifications
Tertiary Qualification with 12+ years HR experience
Previous experience as a Human Resources Business partner is a must. Candidates with working experience in multi-national company, large sized organization or in construction related industry is highly preferred
Proven experience of supporting business units with a true blend of strategic and operational responsibilities. Hands on, get things done and drive for result.
A good team player, positive, people oriented and enjoy meeting and talking to people
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business, Centre of Excellence in HR, government officials, service providers, international colleagues
Previous experience in leading a project from scratch and driving to completion
Ability to adapt and learn to new situations under a constantly changing business environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated effective people and workload management skills
Ability to actively listen and resolve conflict, as well as support, encourage, motivate and grow team members
Good commercial acumen
Good written and verbal communication skill in English
Strong understanding of Hong Kong legislation
