AECOM Project Engineer / Engineer, Materials Group (Structural) in Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong

We are looking for high caliber professional to join our Hong Kong Materials Group which sits within the Building Engineering, Structural business line. To be successful in the role, you will require:
Construction materials consultancy and project management experience working on a variety of construction projects;
Able to lead a team to prepare proposals, win and complete projects on time and within budget;
Communicate directly with clients and be responsible to clients for the performance of projects to contract requirements and client satisfaction;
Provide advice on common construction materials including concrete, steel and other cementitious systems/ related products;
Experience with façade systems and components (traditional materials and more modern cladding systems) from an investigation/ inspection or installation;
Appropriate degree with more than 6 years of construction materials consultancy experience. Experience should include project management, materials testing, supervision of site works and report preparation. Candidate with lesser experience or qualification will be considered for Engineer post
Project management experience delivering to quality, time and budget
Previous exposure with clients of both private and public sectors, together with major contractors
Good understanding of local authorities’ procedures and requirements
Good personal effectiveness and time management
Overseas project experience would be an advantage
Holding a TCP T3 qualification would be a significant benefit;
Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin required.
Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil / Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
MHKIE or equivalent
