AECOM Graduate Engineer, MEP, Building Engineering (Fire Engineering) in Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong

Job Summary

  • Be involved in wide range of design and delivery projects to assist the project administration and execution

  • Review building designs and assist on designing solutions in relation to fire engineering matters

  • Prepare fire engineering reports, presentations and any other deliverables as required

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis including computational fluid dynamics simulations and computational evacuation modelling

  • Coordinate among project team members, clients, statutory authorities, or other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Minimum Requirements

  • Final year students to be graduated in 2020 who are studying a Bachelor degree or above in Fire Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline(s)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledgeable in using IT tools including business and engineering software and applications

  • Hands-on knowledge of computational fluid dynamics simulations (CFD) and computational evacuation modelling (CED)

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Effective individual contributor with ability to work well in team

  • Preferably with experience in BIM
