AECOM Building Services Inspector in Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong

Job Summary

We are looking for talent for the following post for a Premium Logistics Centre Project at Hong Kong International Airport.

  • Monitor and guide the Assistant Building Services Inspector to supervise the Contractor’s works;

  • Assist the Resident Engineer / Architect to review technical and material submissions and design details on construction drawings;

  • Inspect and monitor the Contractor’s progress to comply with the works programme;

  • Supervise the Contractor to carry out the works in accordance with the Specifications and Drawings, and to order removal and reconstruction of works of substandard material and workmanship;

  • Participate in and monitor statutory inspection;

  • Report to the Resident Engineer / Architect issues of site operation, progress and workmanship quality;

  • Comment on Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and Combined Builder’s Works Drawings (CBWD);

  • Prepare list of defects and outstanding works and re-inspection schedule;

  • Handle other supervision duties assigned by the senior.

Minimum Requirements

  • Higher Diploma in Building Services discipline or equivalent

  • At least 6 years relevant site supervision experience in building or infrastructure projects

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese

  • Fluent in spoken Mandarin will be an advantage

  • Working Location: Lantau Island
