Job Description

We are recruiting high-calibre talent to join our growing and talented Asia Digital team in our multi-disciplinary Hong Kong office. The scope of works currently covers transportation, civil infrastructure, water, building services, structural engineering and digital consulting projects. Ideal candidates shall have experience in Architectural Engineering and Construction practice, with excellent leadership skills and proven ability in Revit and Civil 3D on large scale / complex multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce, update and implement project-specific and practice-wide ISO 19650 and policies, including both internal and external management of project teams

  • Work closely with the project teams reporting requirements and agreements from BIM coordination meetings

  • Generate and implement the Revit, Civil 3D, OpenRoads models at the start of new projects by using company standards and developing new templates when required

  • Perform day-to-day management of the digital models to comply with the ISO 19650 and project-specific standards

  • Exchange large amounts of project data with multiple consultants through BIM360 Cloud, ProjectWise or other CDE platforms

  • Organize weekly BIM coordination and clash detection meetings with client representatives and external consultants

  • Generate 3D federated models for clash detection, and reports to demonstrate coordination progress and clash mitigation

  • Understand and proactively implement the required LOD, LOIN and CoBie data, as per project-specific requirements

  • Develop periodic training sessions for the organization and clients

  • Updating internal protocols within the organization and conducting the BIM external audits

  • Enforce ethics and compliance policy including Third Party payment, Sub-consultancy engagement process and Gift and Entertainment policy

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural / Building Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering or equivalent

  • CIC Certified BIM Manager (CCBM)

  • Minimum 8-10 years’ project experience including 4-5 years’ hands-on BIM experience on complex and large-scale projects

  • In-depth experience within a work-sharing environment (e.g. CDE) and demonstrable ability on using 3D coordination software (Navisworks and Synchro) are essential

  • Extensive knowledge of standard BIM practices, techniques and procedures

  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese while proficient in Mandarin will be an advantage

Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior BIM Specialist, Digital.
