Job Description
Ensures, directly and through subordinates, that projects are completed on time and to company standards.
Provides periodic progress reports to senior management.
Has financial and project management responsibilities for the project.
Responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions, oversees data collection and develops solutions to business/client problems with a focus on financial analysis and improvement.
May provide solutions to business/client challenges developed from a foundation of understanding or analysis of business practices and goals.
May lead/mentor team of consultants and/or other staff.
Job Summary:
AECOM is seeking a Digital Lead to accelerate our digital transformation and grow our digital consulting services business and associated practice areas within the Mainland China region. Aligning to the global digital strategy, overall regional growth strategy and focusing on key clients in the region, this role will improve the digital adoption and contributions of the digital consulting business for the region. The Digital Lead will report to a senior executive who is sponsoring the overall digital adoption strategy within the Asia region.

About Digital @AECOM
As a member of the global digital consulting services leadership team, and indirectly reporting to the Global Digital Consulting Services Leader, you will work with leaders from around the world to define and position the digital consulting services, to share best practices, to leverage global capabilities and to support global opportunities and projects. While services and solution management will be set globally, they will be tailored for implementation within the region and for each client.
The Digital Lead will work closely with Asia digital team to build, manage and grow a new department in Mainland China to accelerate digital adoption and create new digital consulting business.
Key Responsibilities
Transition the digital talents into the digital team
Major responsibilities including opportunities creation, project delivery and client satisfaction.
Lead and accelerate the digital adoption for other businesses
Identify and develop key client relationships and monitor client satisfaction levels, in coordination with existing Client Account Managers when applicable
Plans, organizes and implements business development activities
Leading digital consulting bids and supporting regional bids
Build up, directs and coordinates activities of the team
Ensures the success and growth of the digital team in collaboration with the other regional teams
Connecting and sharing resources with teams in other regions
Promoting the service offerings internally and externally
Developing career plans for people within the digital organisation
Minimum Requirements:
10 years’ experience in digital project and solution delivery Exceptional cross business line understanding and collaboration
Demonstrated client relationship and business development capabilities
Demonstrated inspirational leadership
Demonstrated innovation delivery
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience building a digital consulting practice (for key accounts, digital or technology practices eg Analytics, ITS, ICT, digital solutions)
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Management or related field
Solid knowledge on project life cycle management and software of Architectural, Engineering and Construction industry
