AECOM is seeking an Assistant Sustainability Consultant in China.
Job Description
Conducting and delivering technical work across a range of climate change and
sustainability projects;
Working within teams to deliver climate change and sustainability related projects;
Contributing to managing tasks and projects covering technical, quality and financial management;
Liaising and collaborating with colleagues, clients and their advisors to deliver work on time, budget and achieving technical excellence;
Contributing to the preparation of technical reports;
Multitasking: working across several projects and proposals, including infrastructure and major project climate and energy assessments, sustainable infrastructure, climate change/sustainability strategy, carbon footprinting and net zero planning enterprises, and project carbon assessment including Life Cycle Analysis (LCA);
Contributing to preparing costed proposals and other business development materials (e.g. for webinars, flyers, case studies, etc.);
Building long term client relationships.
Qualifications
Science or engineering education background i.e. relevant MSc or equivalent qualification in Energy, Environment, HVAC, Sustainability, Climate Change or relevant fields, and a strong undergraduate degree in STEM based major.
Familiarity with climate change science and impact, mitigation and adaptation concepts;
Holistic understanding of sustainability, with a particular interest in energy and climate change;
A desire to delivery technical excellence;
Great communication and presentation skills and fluency in English.
