Job Summary
AECOM has a position available for an Offshore Wind Permitting Program Manager to be based in any AECOM office in the United States, preferably East Coast. In this role the qualified candidate will join our expanding Offshore Wind Strategic Initiative Team to focus on business development, technical leadership, program Subject Matter Expertise, client account management and program execution.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
This role is a high visibility role with a specific objective of expanding AECOM’s Leadership in the Offshore Wind Energy Market domestically and internationally
The program manager will work with multidisciplinary staff focusing on business development, client pre-positioning, proposal leadership and delivery with an overall focus on market and staff growth.
Minimum Requirements
BS, preferably in Biology, Natural Resources, Marine Biology, Environmental Science or related field
10+ years of relevant experience including 2 years of leadership in the energy sector, power permitting and impact assessment and permitting
Must be willing and able to travel when and as requested
Pre-employment motor vehicle record check will be conducted

Preferred Qualifications
MS in Biology, Natural Resources, Marine Biology, Environmental Science or related field is preferred
20+ years of relevant experience, with progressive development in the energy sector, power permitting and impact assessment and permitting preferred
Experience that includes understanding of the regulatory and technical elements of the offshore wind market, lease and call area development, state policies and agreements driving the market and fundamental understanding of the interconnect and transmission infrastructure requirements desired.
Prior experience in technical leadership roles with BOEM Permitting Submittals desired
