AECOM is seeking a Mid-Level Roadway Engineer to be based in Seattle, WA

Job Summary/Responsibilities

  • Serves as lead maintenance of traffic engineer on mid- to large scale complex projects with an emphasis on design-build delivery.

  • Lead project plan production and task force meetings.

  • Present complex technical solutions to clients.

  • Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

  • Approves and signs off on project deliverables.

  • Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.

  • Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.

  • Participate in the development of technical proposals.

  • Provide estimates for project engineering budget and deliverable schedules.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university

  • 6+ years of experience delivering transportation projects with an emphasis on Maintenance of Traffic, Traffic Control, and Roadway/Highway Design

  • A current P.E. license in the State of Washington

  • WSDOT design experience, preferably on design-build projects

  • Roadway design and modeling experience using Microstation and InRoads

  • Experience preparing construction plans and technical reports

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience
