Position Title Hydrogeologist

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Hydrogeologist for immediate employment for the Santa Barbara, CA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Provide technical expertise and support for a large CERCLA project
Prepare technical work plans and reports
Understand and refine Conceptual Site Model involving complex hydrogeology, geochemistry and contaminate fate and transport
Perform analytical data evaluation
Prepare presentations for technical meetings with the client and regulators
Bachelor’s degree in geology or hydrogeology
8+ years' experience or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
Advanced capabilities in hydrogeological analysis (groundwater modeling, fate and transport of petroleum and chlorinated compounds, etc.)
Self-motivated and an effective communicator
Knowledge of CERCLA regulations
Superior technical report writing skills
Team player and detail-oriented
Knowledge of monitored natural attenuation and biodegradation
Experience with CERCLA projects
Experience with groundwater modeling software packages
